Adrienne Jo Barbeau has been born on the 11th of June in the year 1945 in Sacramento that is situated in California. Adrienne had a sister Jocelyn. Barbeau is known as an american actress and the author of twoo books. Being a girl she was attending Del Mar High School in San Jose.

In the end of 1960s she had moved to NY and before her triumphal appearance in "Fiddler on the Roof" she was performing as a go-go dancer. Since than Adrienne starred in more than 25 musicals. The most known are "Women Behind Bars" and "Grease" for that she had received aa Theater Guild Award in 1972.

In 1970s she had one of the main parts in series "Maude" that lasted from 1972 till 1978. Adrienne herself very often remarked that nobody was actually interested in her talent and acting skills but prefered to enjoy the view of her wonderful figure. In the last two seasons she almost didn't appear in the episodes because of her new star status. In 2009 Adrienne said that she had some relations with Arthur whom they were co-starring in "Maude" with. They were seen together in the "The View" in 2007.

The actress could be also seen in a lot of TV shows and movies. Among them are "Fantasy Island", " The Love Boat". One of the most significant role for her was in the horror movie "The Fog". The producer of the film was her husband John Carpenter whom she met in 1978. They were married for 6 years until the break-up in 1984. She presented him with a son a few months before their divorce.

During the 1980s she appeared in a number of sci-fi and horror films.

The real adoration of fans and great profit she gained from appearing as a Catwoman on "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Gotham Girls". In 1998 Barbeau released her album titled "Adrienne Barbeau" with folk songs. Her autobiography "There Are Worse Things I Could Do" appeared in the stores in 2006 and became nearly a best-seller. In 2008 her book "Vampyres of Hollywood" that was written together with Michael Scott was released and its sequel in 2010 was more than anticipated.

In 2009 she gladden the public with the appearance in "The Dog Who Saved Christmas", "Fly Me to the Moon" and "Rescue Me".
